Hi TI!
which is the max. BW per FPD lane should be transferred?
What bandwidth should CN have?
we will use display with 1920×1080 1080p Full-HD.
5m cable
HDMI 1.2
Thnak you!
Ismail

Hi Ismail,

Are you referring to the FPD-link bandwidth here? The maximum bandwidth would also depend on the deserializer you are pairing with, and whether you are using single or dual link mode. The maximum line rate is 3.675-Gbps.
The bandwidth you would require would depend on the bpp and TMDS clock rate. For 1920×1080, 60 fps, the TMDS clock (depending on blanking) might come out to be 148.5 MHz. Thid TMDS clock rate would be supported as the datasheet states:
The device supports TMDS clocks in the range of 25 MHz to 105 MHz over one lane, or 50 MHz to 210 MHz over two lanes.
As for the cable, connectors, and PCB design, you would need to ensure they meet the channel specifications in conjunction.
Best regards,
Ikram
