SN65DSI83: Question about capacitor value on VCORE(31) pin

Dear TI experts,

My customer tests their own PCB with SN65DSI83.

During tests, they found that the capacitor value on VCORE(31) pin should be set to 0.1uF, then the display operates normally.

But If they change the value of this capacitor to 0.1uF (which is recommended in datasheet) the display is not operates properly.

So I am asking that this 1uF value will be okay for SN65DSI83 and other schematic.

Or should we modify something for using 0.1uF capacitor value?

Hey Chase,

Having a .1uF capacitor at Vcore should not cause the video to stop, can you share your schematic?

There should be no issue with having a larger 1uF capacitor at VCORE.

I understand that 1uF value has no problem, also 0.1uF should not have problem either. Please confirm that my understanding is right or not.

Also I attach customer's schematic and PCB layer capture. Could you review it?

Hey Chare, the CMC and the ac caps are most likely not needed here

Remove the caps to ground here

Is there any connection to the 1.1V VCORE pin?
