Hi Haiwen,

Please see my feedback below:

1) Please refer to 8.5 Electrical Characteristics for voltage levels of the Analog pins. These pins (TD, RD, XI, XO, ...) do not follow VDDA level.

2,3) For CEXT and transformer termination capacitor, please use datasheet capacitor value 2nF. EVM capacitor value is outdated, sorry for the confusion here.

4) RMII slave/master configuration bits are in register 0x468.

Hi Evan:

In DP83826I datasheet , "9.4.1 Hardware Bootstraps Configuration" describes "Configuration of the device may be done through the strap pins or through the management register interface."; but I cannot find the registers that control RMII Slave/Master. Could you please help give a guide ? Thanks .

Hi Haiwen,

Please refer to register 0x17[7]:

25MHz clock reference = RMII Master mode

50MHz clock reference = RMII Slave mode

This assumes RMII is enabled with 0x17[5] = '1' or through straps.
