below is customer side signal trace sequence.

HOST >> MB(5742mil) >> cable (6300mil) >> USB small card(1304mil) >>connector

do you think where could customer side put their TUSB211A? or I could follow the simplified Schematic from datasheet.

Hi Brian,

The customer can place the redriver closer to the connector on the USB small card. The total distance is roughly 13K mils, which I believe is a relatively short distance (unless I am mistaken,) so placing the redriver closer to the connector on that card should be okay.
