Hello team,

Hope you are doing well.

Here is a new failure case of 720S, now this is a single case from end customer. The device transform stopped occasionally, but it can re-transform after reset, the phenomenon could be repeated in the car.

Customer checked main related registers as below matrix, found there are 3 registers in abnormal state. After resetting, all other registers recovered to normal state, but 60Dh was still, it is shown there are some error in SGMII_FIFO_STATUS Register.

So could you help analyze the reason for the fail? And why 60D register did not change after resetting?

    This is only one board out of several thousand experiencing this issue? Does the issue occur immediately and every time after every power up? Or is it intermittent or takes some time?

    Can you share the value of register 0x60A on a good and bad board? By the way, what does "NA" mean for register 0x608 after resetting?

    This is only one board out of several thousand experiencing this issue?  Yes, we only found one board have this issue.

    Does the issue occur immediately and every time after every power up?

    Or is it intermittent or takes some time?  yes, it takes some time after driving. (about 10mins)

    Can you share the value of register 0x60A on a good and bad board?  bad is 0x956 and good is 0x916

    By the way, what does "NA" mean for register 0x608 after resetting? means i did not perform the read operation.
