Tool/software:

Hello everyone. Not sure if this is the correct place to ask this question but I would like to know if I can add external pulls, 10k Ohms to the P[n] ports of the PCA9554. My understanding is that they are configured by default as inputs and that as such, they have weak pull ups inside already (100K). If I want the I2C line to read a logic 1, can I just leave the P[n] pin floating or do I need an external pull up that I can assign any value to it (right now, I am using 10k Ohms)?

I know that if I want the I2C bus to ready a logic 0, I'll need to add a zero ohms pull down resistor.

Thanks you all very kindly
