TLIN1027-Q1: TLIN1027-Q1 connecto to OBD2 connector

Part Number: TLIN1027-Q1

Tool/software:

Hi supporter

I know TLIN1027-Q1 can support ISO9141-2 with its LIN output. But TLIN1027-Q1 only have one output pin and in OBD2's pin defintion, it has pin7 (K-line)and pin15 (L-line) to support ISO9141-2.

which OBD2's pin should I connect to TLIN1027-Q1's output?

thanks.

  • Josh,

The TLIN1027-Q1 is not protocol-aware, so it can be used in any application that requires this physical layer. The L-Line is intended just for initialization, whereas the K-Line is intended for actual data transfer. The TLIN1027-Q1 can be used for either. The primary use case for it (i.e. where it is most applicable) is for data transfer on the K-Line.

    Best,

    Danny
