Tool/software:
Hi,
Im looking for redriver/retimer to deliver one direction data (video, 4k, 60fps) through long cable (4m).
The driver and the receiver will be probably FPGA.
I'm thinking of using a driver on a USB channel.
What do you think?
Hi,
For video 4k 60fps, is this a DP or a HDMI interface? We have dedicated DP and HDMI redriver or retimer in our product portfolio, why use a USB channel?
Thanks
David
Hi
Because i thought it can be nice to have down channel for commands (as backup).
I guess i can desing DP and HDMI but i have more experience with HDMI so it preferred.
Hi,
For HDMI re-timer, you could consider SN65DP159 if it is an AC-coupled input or TMDS181 if it is a DC-coupled input. Both re-timer will support 4k@60Hz resolution.
Thanks
David
Thanks,
And if i choose to use USB channel, do you have any recommendation for me ?
