Hi All,

I have a question about the TCA9617B.

I want to convert I2C from 5V to 3.3V.
Is it possible to input to the B side and output from the A side?

I²C is bidirectional; both sides are inputs and outputs.

Hi Ishiwata,

Clemens is correct!

I2C is bi-directional. The A-side or B-side can be looked as the input or an output depending on which way you a driving the signal.
