TUSB2E11: Loop back

Hi team,

Could you help to check two questions from my customer?

1. If SOC can support loop back in software, does our TUSB2E11 support external loopback? The block diagram is shown below.

2. Customer needs a method to confirm if the USB redriver device is working well. Besides connecting a USB device, any other suggestions?

    Hi Lijia,

    1. The SoC would need to support the loopback and be able to be both a USB host and a USB device at the same time.  If it can do that, then it should work.

    2. USB compliance testing by using tools from the USB-IF like USBCV and USBET is probably the best way to confirm a repeater is USB compliant.
