TVP5150AM1: Powerdown Mode wait time sequence

Part Number: TVP5150AM1

Tool/software:

I have got a question from customer regarding to TVP5150AM1’s PowerDown sequence .

In the document of “tvp5150am1_PowerDownMode.pdf”it is said that the I2C has double the wait time, does this mean that the wait time before the stop condition needs to be 128us? were it is written 64us in 3.15.2.3 Timing Requirement.

Regards,

    Hi Sho-san,

That is also my understanding. Wait >128uS before issuing STOP bit.

  • understood,

one more question, to enter the powerdown mode there are 9 steps. we sometimes see an error operating this in order but no error when starting with #9 > #1 > #2...> #8. is there any concerns not following the steps in order?

or does this have anything to do with the waiting time related with the first question?

    regards,

I will suggest you follow the instructions as listed in the document. Your proposed order to start step 9 first has never been tested so I don't know if that will also work.
