TCAN1044AV-Q1: TCAN1044AV-Q1

Part Number: TCAN1044AV-Q1

Tool/software:

Hi Team,

I am using TCAN1044AVDRQ1 CAN transceiver in one of my design. The below is the screenshot of circuit. I have connected 1.8V supply voltage for VIO pin. Is 1.8V voltage is acceptable on VIO pin?

I am not able to send and receive CAN data, I have checked Standby pin and made it low.

Please help me to proceed further.

With regards,

Jayashree.

  • Hi Jayashree,

VIO =1.8V is fine, it's within the recommended operating condition.

For the schematic, it looks mostly good to me, my only suggestion is putting the bus filter caps close to the connector, like the TVS diode.

Was there no CANH/L output when you applied an input on TXD? Or no RXD output when there was CAN communication on the bus?

Would you please provide some waveform captures so we can fully understand what's going on?

    Regards,

    Sean
