Hi Team,

We are using the DP83867ISRGZ Ethernet PHY in our design and are encountering a link-up issue. The link previously established consistently, but after several power cycles, it no longer comes up. I have included the PHY register values for your reference.

Hi Varshini,

Thank you for the register log. This seems to be the log from a working case (Reg 0x1 = 796D, link is up), could you also send a register log of a non-working case? Is the desired link speed 1000Mbps? What is the link-partner in your test set up?

Hi Alvaro,

The given register log is from a non working card itself. Although the log indicates that the link is up, it is not actually established. On a functional card, issuing the 'ifconfig' command results in a "Connection is established" message. However, this is not happening with the indicated card, and we are unable to 'ping' or execute other commands like 'scp'. Please find the image attached.

Hi Varshini,

Thank you for clarifying. As another quick question, when the card is not working, register 0x1 indicates link is good, could you also run 'ethtool -eth4' to the check what the link status there says?

Also, how many boards are affected by this issue?
