Hi,

I notice that the CANH/CANL output voltage is a range in the datasheet, but actually when we measure it is always the typical value 3.5V/1.5V. I want to know at what condition the voltage will really change?

The output voltage might be influenced by load current, supply voltage, temperature, and manufacturing variations.

In practice, only the differential output voltage matters. So it does not make sense to guarantee and test for a tighter common-mode voltage range.

Hi Clemens,

Does it mean I don't need to treat the change form typical value as a problem, as long as the differential voltage is at the right range?
