TUSB522P: Inquiry Regarding Incorrect Connection of SSTX+ and SSTX-

Part Number: TUSB522P

Tool/software:

Dear Support Team,

We are currently designing a PCB that includes your USB 3.0 redriver. During our prototype phase, we encountered an issue with the connection of the SSTX+ and SSTX- signals.

Specifically, we connected SSTX+ to TX1N-RX1N and SSTX- to TX1P-RX1P on both the host and receptacle sides. Despite this, communication appears to be functioning correctly.

Could you please advise if this reversed connection might cause any potential problems in the long term or affect the performance of the redriver? If this connection is indeed incorrect, what specific issues or failures might we expect to encounter?

Thank you for your assistance.

Best regards,
