TUSB8020B: TUSB8020BPHPR failure issue Not communicate with device-side by down stream Port 1 signals

Part Number: TUSB8020B

Tool/software:

Customer have confirmed that there is a malfunction in the operation. Customer asked for a problem analysis via CPR. but the answer was sent to E2E as a response with the problem of the application.

The problem is as follows.

Not communicate with device-side by downstream port 1 signals. (Both SuperSpeed and high-spe ed are failed) Some of them Not communicate with host-side by upstream signals, while some oeperate normally. The our analysis results are as follows. - only lot 3065437PHI is used , and no other lots are used. - once the failure occurs, it does not recover. - failure occurs by only power-on without connecting USB device. - failure occurs mainly first time power-on, but it also occurs multiple power-on. - normal ICs do not occur even 1,000 times power on. - resistence value of VDD-GND and Positive-Negative are abnormal. Ex. VDD-GND (No rmal IC) : hundreds ohm VDD-GND (Fail ure IC) : a few ohm - following waveforms are normal 1) POWER (VDD33 and VDD when power- on and operation, USB_VBUS) 2) CLOCK (XI) * XO is not used due to oscillator. 3) RESET (GRSTz) 4) UPSTREAM

Please tell me how to work around this problem as soon as possible.
