DP83867IR: Can I limit mode 10/100BASE by only floating TD_P_C, TD_M_C, TD_P_D, TD_M_D?

When I want to use only 10/100BASE, can I achieve that by only floating TD_P_C、TD_M_C、TD_P_D、TD_M_D?

Do I need to set registers based on "PAP Auto-negotiation Select Strap Details"?

    Hi Ishii-san,

    Yes, these channels can be left floating if only using 10/100M, and mirror mode is disabled.

    If the channel mapping is crossed and mirror mode is used, channels C and D are required for 10/100M.

    Auto-negotiation strap options depend on package type (RGZ vs. PAP), but auto-negotiation registers are the same between packages.

    If the intended auto-neg setting cannot be strapped, registers 0x4 (10/100M advertisements) and 0x9 (1000M advertisements) can be configured.
