Tool/software:
I am using the DS160PT801 as a retimer on a PCIe add-in card.
I have been given a .hex file by TI that I have loaded on an attached eeprom.
I am unable to get the EP to enumerate as a x8 PCIe link. The MCM only reports a x1
I am looking for ideas regarding re-timer settings that may be preventing the interface from working as intended.
This is a picture of our design. The MCM is on the other side of the re-timer and should be the endpoint. The MCM does support lane reversal.

I am hoping you can give me some clues as to what is going on and what I should try next.
I did verify that the PERST_N signal is high from the PC and clock is good.
