One of my customers is looking for a TI device which can replace TJA1051.

I think TJA1051 can be replaced with TCAN1057ADRQ.

Is my thought correct?

Also if you have more cost effective device than TCAN1057ADRQ, could you let me know?

I would expect the TCAN1051HG to be designed as an exact replacement. But with the "H", it has additional ±70 V fault protection.

The TCAN1057A-Q1 indeed is the most cost effect replacement.

Hi Kazuya,

TCAN1057A would be the most cost effective choice as Clemens said. The only case they should use TCAN1051H would be requiring higher bus fault protection.
