Hi Will,
There is not currently an IBIS model available for the TCA49416. Apologies if this causes an inconvenience.
Best,
Julius Burtell
Is there any IBIS for a device with similar buffer IO can be used instead ?
On the website I have found the model for TCA39306
https://www.ti.com/interface/i2c/level-shifters-buffers-and-hubs/overview.htmlthis has similar I2C/I3C level shifter functionality but it does not have the rise/fall time accelerator circuitry inside
so I am afraid that the output characteristics will be quite different.
Hi Will,
The TCA39306 has significant differences in internal circuitry. The nearest part with an IBIS model would be the TCA9416. The main difference is the TCA9416 uses a 10k ohm pull up resistor, while the TCA39416 has a dedicated high-keeper circuit for faster speeds. If high speed testing is necessary, I would recommend testing with the EVM.
Best,
Julius
