DS125BR401这颗料应用在PCIE3.0总线上,想问下怎么配置

  • Hi Joseph,

    I believe your question is:

DS125BR401 This material is used on the PCIE3.0 bus, I would like to ask how to configure it.

I have some questions to better understand your use case and advise how to configure the device.

    1. Do you plan to use pin mode, SMBus slave mode, or SMBus master mode to configure the device?
    2. Do you wish to use auto rate select for PCIe (Gen 1/2/3)? Or do you wish to force only PCIe Gen 3?
    3. Which RX-detect mode do you wish to use?

    Best,

    Lucas

  • Hi Joseph,

You should design your schematic as follows.

    • INA_n+/-, INB_n+/-: Add external AC coupling capacitors to all high-speed inputs.
    • OUTA_n+/-, OUTB_n+/-: Add external AC coupling capacitors to all high-speed outputs.
    • ENSMB: Tie 1k to GND to select pin mode.
    • EQAn, EQBn: Configure to apply EQ boost according to levels shown in Table 2 of the datasheet. Some tuning may be required to find optimal EQ setting.
    • DEMAn, DEMBn: Tie 1k to GND on all de-emphasis pins. De-emphasis is not available when using auto rate select.
    • MODE: Leave floating for auto rate select.
    • SD_TH: Configure the signal detect threshold level according to levels shown in Table 5 of the datasheet. Some tuning may be required to find optimal signal detect threshold setting.
    • RXDET: Leave floating.
    • LPBK: Leave floating for normal operation.
    • VDD_SEL: Choose whether you would like to power the device with 2.5V or 3.3V.
    • PWDN: Tie to GND for normal operation.
    • ALL_DONE: Leave floating. This pin will have no output in pin mode.
    • VIN/VDD: Follow Power Supply Recommendations section of the datasheet to see recommended supply and decoupling networks.

If you are interested, I can review your schematic after you complete your design.

    Best,

    Lucas
