I am looking for a chip with the following spec for pulsed laser drive:
- Max current 2A
- Min pulse width 1 or 1.5nsec
- Max repetition Rate 20MHz
- VCC= 5V Max =12V
MOSFETs could be included or not. Does anybody could help.
Thanks

The laser drivers in our portfolio are for gigabit communication links and can not provide this much current.
Providing 2A of current in 1ns is challenging. This will most likely need to be a descrete design. I have attached a paper showing a pulsed laser driver that can provide 2.5A of current but the risetime was around 17ns. The risetime was 8ns for 1A.
I aso found a company called Avtech with pulsed laser drivers with sub-nanosecond rise times. Maybe you can check into this.
