Could you please share your insights of the following questions? Thanks.

  • Is it possible to configure MPI 4 Lane input to eDP 3 Lane output? If so, how can we configure？
  • If not, is it possible to have a customized device which support this case?

The application for this case could be smartphone/VR glass.

    Hey Frank,

    Unfortunately we do not support 3 lane eDP.

    I have never seen any system use 3 lane eDP. What is the advantage/ reasoning behind using 3 lanes? Just curious.

    We also no not have plans to create a new/ custom device. 

    Can you provide who the end customer is and the potential revenue metrics? I'll look into the business case.
