TUSB321: Version of this part with CC Hi-Z

Hello team,

I am looking to do CC detection to monitor source capability (default/1.5A/3A) but with high impedance on the cc lines so that I can use a pull-down resistor controlled elsewhere.

Does TI support a part like this?

    Hi Austin,

    Thanks for reaching out. Our CC controllers apply internal pulldowns on the CC lines when operating as a UFP, so I'm not sure we have the Hi-Z solution you're looking for.

    The TUSB321, 320, and 322 can output the current mode of the Type-C connection through the OUT1/2 pins. This is typically how source capability is monitored when using one of these CC controllers.
