Direct USB SS Lines connections with USB 2 lines through a hub.

Hello,

We need to design a system with 3 internal USB 2.0 devices and 4 USB 3.0 external USB ports. We already made a design with two TUSB8041.
One as an internal hub and annother for the 4 external ports. With this design we are not able to get USB3 to work, but USB2 works fine.
To simplify the design, we thought about using a USB 2.0 hub for internal connections and to route the USB SS lines directly to the USB 3
hub and to keep the USB 2 lines going through the internal USB 2 hub like in this drawing I made.
Could a setup like that work ?

    Hi  Mathieu:

        From the above setup , if there is a USB3 flash drive is plugged into the 2nd  USB3 hub and a USB2 flash drive is plugged into the 1st USB2  hub at same time, USB2 flash drive  will not be detected .

         You need to use two USb3 hubs  like below
