Hi Teams,

I have a question about DS90UH981 & DS90UH984.

In both EVM board circuit design,

-> DS90UH981 DOUT0+ & DOUT0- need to connect 0.1uF capacitors.

-> DS90UH984 RIN0+ & RIN0- also need to connect 0.1uF capacitors.

If my circuit design need to connect DS90UH981 DOUT to DS90UH984 RIN, should I need to put both 0.1uF, or I only need to put one 0.1uF instead?

Hi Johnny,

AC capacitors are required on both side of the link, therefore you will need 2 caps per signal; each capacitor placed as close to each pin as possible.

Hi Logan,

Just want to verify, I'll connect DS90UH981 DOUT to DS90UH984 RIN on the same PCBA, so still need 2 caps per signal, is this correct?

Hi Johnny,

Yes, capacitors are needed on both sides - at TX and RX pins.
