Hi Ryan,
These devices are the same pinout and same package.
Major difference is that the static voltage offset is on A-side for TCA9509
For TCA9617, static voltage offset is on B-side.
TCA9509 | TCA9617B | |
VCCA | 0.9V to 5.5V (1) | 0.8V to VCCB |
VCCB | 2.7V to 5.5V | 2.2V to 5.5V |
SVO | A-side | B-side |
VILC (A-side for TCA9509), VIL (B-side for TCA9617B) | 150 mV (typ) | VILB = 0.4V |
Frequency | 400kHz | 1 MHz |
IOLA | 10 uA | 30 mA |
IOLB |
6mA | 30 mA |
Buffered pF A-side |
1 mA = ~ 150Pf depending on data rate | 550pF |
Buffer pF B-side |
400pF | 550pF |
(1) Low-level supply voltage
The rest of the specifications are characterized according to the I2C standard for standard mode, fast mode, and fast mode+ (TCA9617B only). Things like prop delay, and other timing specs will adhere to the I2C standard.
