Hi TI,
We are using the DP83TC8 with an RGMII interface in our current design and plan to implement a POE design with the TPS23730. However, we noticed that the IEEE standards for the TPS23730 are IEEE 802.3bt, while the DP83TC8 adheres to IEEE 802.1AE.
Could you help us understand this discrepancy? Do we need to ensure that both chips comply with the same standards when the source of data and power comes from the same cable?
