Hi team，

The customer uses 933-962. 933 is powered on and initialized by the APA SOC, while 962 is initialized by the Head unit SOC.
I want to confirm whether there is a necessary order for the initialization of the deserializer 962 and the external box 933, or does it not matter which one is initialized first? Or does 962 have to wait until 933 produces a normal video stream before it can start initializing?

    Hello,

    Thank you for your question. The main thing to consider is that without lock, the two devices will not be able to communicate with each other. This means if the 933 is powered first, it will not be able to send any I2C transactions or video data to the 962, and vice versa. However, as long as there is local I2C access by each SOC this is not an issue. The 962 does not require the 933 be powered and transmitting video data prior to initialization. The 962 can be powered up and initialized before the 933.
