Problem: TFP410 HSYNC Always High

Hi,

I'm using TFP410 to do a prototype test with a FPGA, the signals generated by FPGA such as DE, VSYNC, IDCK are all OK, but HSYNC is always high voltage level. If I remove TFP410, the HSYNC generated by FPGA is a pulse, but after I connected TFP410, the HSYNC kept high level, not pulse.

Can anyone help me?

Hi Ping,

HSYNC is a CMOS input to the TFP410, so it is unlikely that the TFP410 is causing HSYNC to be static-high. I recommend you check for a board short or physical connection problem. In your schematic, is the FPGA's HSYNC output directly connected to the TFP410? Does the problem occur on multiple boards?

Yes, FPGA's HSYNC is directly connected to TFP410's pin 4. I'll check the board again.

There's a shortcut between 410's pin4(HSYNC) and pin3(Vref) on board. Solved.
