Hi team,
Customer plan to use TCA6418 in their project. To minimize the leakage, they plan to set the pin to high Z status. Could you help check they could do this?
Thanks and Best Regards,
Will

The only way to get an I/O pin in the Hi-Z state is to configure it as an input. Please note that it still needs to have a valid logic voltage (low or high) applied to it, so you should enable a pull-up/-down, or connect it externally.
Hi Will,
I concur with Clemens feedback. Please note the device will by default set all GPIOs to input with 50KOhm pull downs.
