Hi Dane,
From a physical layer perspective, there is no problem using TCAN3413 for this topology for use with other 3.3V or 5V supplied transceivers or mixed network of both. From a protocol layer, there are some considerations to account when using I2C over CAN. Please see the reference guide linked below for more information. If the protocol used here is CAN, then there will be no extra considerations needed here.

1. do we have CAN relay product to support the compensation for the cable loss?
2. is the Transceiver has the compensation function?
3. what we recommend for server application where there is CAN?
