TLK2711-SP: Unused Transmit data bus lines (TXDxx)

Part Number: TLK2711-SP

Tool/software:

Hi,

We are redesigning a board in which we used a few "TLK2501IRCP" transceivers. That transceiver has Internal pulldown for every TXDx line so in some of the ICs, where TX  was not used in our desing, we left them floating and we had no issue.

Now we need to replace the previous transceiver with this one "TLK2711-SP". So I was wondering what would be the best practice for those unused TXDx lines since the datasheet states nothing about internal pulldown here, so we have to assume there is no internal pulldown right?

I found an other thread that says "unused inputs TXD should be tied either high or low so that they are forced into a know state"
https://e2e.ti.com/support/interface-group/interface/f/interface-forum/260333/the-unused-pins-on-tlk2711-sp

but I would like to additionally ask:
would you recommend placing external pulldown for every TXDx line or it would it be ok if, for taking up less space, we connected all TXDx lines together to a single pulldown?

Thanks,
Ioannis
