DP83848-EP: DP83848-EP PHYTER Military Temperature Single Port 10/100

Part Number: DP83848-EP

Tool/software:

Here DP83848-EP PHYTER is Powered ON and in MII mode TX_EN is pulled to low what the state of pins TXD[0;3]? (Is it HiZ or what?) needed information from data sheet.

My doubt is when TX_EN is pulled low what the pin state of TXD[0;3] at this time DP83848-EP PHYTER is powered ON. need to know it from the data sheet of  DP83848-EP PHYTER Military Temperature Single Port 10/100.

I have gone through the data sheet but didn't find the pin state of TXD[0;3] when TX_EN is low. Could you give the reference or any picture which tells about this statement.

  • Hello,

It appears this is a repeat of a query you had asked yesterday. Please refer to that thread for consolidation.

I would not expect there to be a pin state table for this specific state of operation (when TX_EN is low) in datasheet. Rather, the state should be fixed during active operation; HI-Z.

    Sincerely,

    Gerome

  • How can we tell that the pin state of TXD[0;3] when TX_EN is low fixed to 'HiZ' if it is not mentioned in the data sheet please provide me the complete information about the pin state of TXD[0;3] when TX_EN is low from data sheet or any reference from your side.

or can we know the internal connection of this IC where exactly the we the pin state of TXD[0;3] when TX_EN is low are configured internally need to know the pin states by examine or from reference documents provide the link.

  • Hello,

The pins states will not change dependent to the signal at a specific pin during active operation. These pins will always be input (HI-Z) if TX_EN is left floating, driven high, or driven low.

    Sincerely,
    Gerome
