Hi,

The TX de-emphasis is to pre-compensate for the channel insertion loss. I would set it to 0dB first, and if needed, set to -2dB depending on the HDMI electrical compliance testing result.

i see xilinx dp159.c directly set it to -2dB for hdmi2.0

The setting of de-emphasis is system dependent, and can be tuned if needed to pass the HDMI electrical compliance testing.
