DP83825I: Overwrite strap pins via software

Dear Ladies and Gentlemen

We are using DP83825I 10/100-Mbit/s-PHY on our hardware.

We want to overwrite strap pins, we found the register for auto negotiation but we didnt find the right register to change the pin CRS_DV to operate as CRS_DV or RX_DV in RMII mode.

    Hi Hamaza,

    Thank you for pointing this out. Register 0x0302bit[8] is the register to configure CRS_DV to RX_DV. We will update this in the new revision of datasheet.

    • IO_CFG Register 0x0302 8 CRS_DV/RX_DV RW 1b0 Valid in RMII mode. Configures the pin20 (CRS_DV) to function as RX_DV or  CRS_DV (RX_DV + CRS) 0b = CRS_DV
      1b = RX_DV
