◆Question

Is it okay to use this circuit for unused ports?
(Does it need to be connected to VCCI or GND?)

In Table 5-1. Pin Functions, it is set as an input at power up.

Best regards

  • Unused inputs should not be left floating. Configure them as outputs, or connect them to a valid logic voltage (with or without a resistor).

  • Hi User,

Best practice is to tied unused pins configured as INPUTs to either VCCP or GND through a resistor.

Otherwise, you can also configure these floating pins on power up to floating OUTPUTs.

If you leave them floating, there is a chance that the device will power up with an interrupt asserted because the voltage on the input is floating and subject to change.

    Regards,
