Can I place ESD diode TPD2E2U06DCK for the VBUS rail of the USB Connector?

    Hi Sandra,

    The specifications of TPD2E2U06DCK are suitable for a USB VBUS rail (assuming no USB-C Power Delivery) protection. However, this device is 2 channels, meaning that in order to maximize use of the device, the second IO pin should be connected to another USB VBUS or IO (depending on the USB version) pin. If this is not feasible, we also have many single channel options with similar/superior specifications that might be of interest, such as ESD441DPL. This device will be in a much smaller package, and will offer protection for the USB VBUS application. Please see a comparison below of these devices:
