TRS232E: Package option

Hello,

Let me confirm package option of TRS232E.
According to first page of datasheet, it seems that this device has 4 package options (D, DW, N, PW).
However, when I checked orderable device, I could only see DW package.
Are rest of other packages going to disclose for the future ?

    These options are available for the MAX232E, which is identical with the TRS232E.

    As Clemens mentioned, the TRS232E device only has the DW package active. The MAX232E version has D, DW, N, and PW all active on its product page. 

    The MAX device ended up being more popular than the TRS variant for the other packages which is why the TRS package variants disappeared.

    So is my understanding you will remove these package from datasheet in next version of datasheet correct ?

    Usually we do, it depends on the tech writer assigned to the part. Some tech writers may prefer to keep them in because customer in the past have bought the old packages and want to see the thermal parameters or the pinouts/mechanical drawings if they have old supply. 

    Generally though unactive package do get removed.
