DP83869HM: Fiber data input/output compatibility with dedicated transceivers

Tool/software:

Hello TI team,

We are using DP83869HM in Media Converter mode for new product development.

The customer would use SY58607U (MicroChip) on the transmitter side (on SO pins) & SY84113BU (Micrel/MicroChip) on the receiver side (on SI pins).

Any chance you could confirm that DP83869HM would work AC-coupled with both transceiver ICs?

In addition, we have a concern regarding the PCB layout. If DP83869HM would work AC-coupled with transceiver ICs, where should we place coupling capacitors?

We assume that the coupling capacitors should be placed close to SY58607U for the transmitter side and close to DP83869HM for the receiver side.
