   I have  some questions about SER_ID Register Field。

1. FREEZE_DEVICE_ID Field

   “ Freeze Serializer Device ID Prevent auto-loading of the Serializer Device ID from the Forward Channel. The ID is frozen at the value written.”

what function about this ?

    Hi Li, 

    The SER_ID register is automatically loaded when the deserializer and serializer lock to each other. If desired, FREEZE_DEVICE_ID can be enabled to prevent this auto-loading. When FREEZE_ID is enabled, the value in the register will be kept.
