What is the exact source and sink current capacity for each of the Driver and Receiver pins of SN65HVD32 IC ?

    The absolute maximum rating of the receiver output (R) is 11 mA; more can damage the device.

    The short-circuit current of the driver output pins (Y, Z) is guaranteed to be less than 250 mA.

    Hi Neha,

    As Clemens pointed out you can see the recommended and max rating in the section 7.1 and 7.3.

    For recommended, if you are following this then the device should operate according to datasheet spec, using it outside of this can cause deviation (device no longer in spec). 

    For absolute max, if you violate this you will affect the FIT (failure in time) rate or even break the device. So the absolute max would be the worst case conditions that you shouldn't exceed.
