TL16C754B: replace ST16C654 it can't work

Part Number: TL16C754B
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TL16C754C

Tool/software:

I am using ST16C654D and now I want to replace it with TI TL16CP754C, which is PIN TO PIN. However, after welding, I found that it cannot work properly. I want to know the difference in parameters between the two, but I did not see any difference from the datasheet; Most parameters are compatible; Can you please provide some suggestions;

    Do you know what exactly is the problem? Are you seeing some kind of wrong data on the output? Or it fails a loopback test?

    A little more detail more help us figure this out.

    Also, are you using TL16C754C or B? The partnumber on the post states B but the actual thread/sentence shows C.

    Both devices have errata if you look at the link below the datasheet. The C version has a short stop bit issue.
