PCF8575: PWM controller with I2C interface

Part Number: PCF8575
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TCA6507

Tool/software:

Hi TI Technical Support Team,

I have a project where I need to drive SG90 Servo motor (hobby motor). I have to control this motor through I2C interface (this is must). The PWM frequency will be 50 Hz (period 20ms) and pulse width will be between 1ms (0 degree, 5% duty cycle) and 2ms (180 degree, 10% duty cycle). I previously used PCF8575 but this IC is not capable of generating PWM and also the footprint is big. I think Led driver  that has I2C interface and can generate PWM with above mentioned duty cycle and frequency can solve my issue.

I will only drive 1 servo motor and full load current will be small (~100mA). The circuit will be powered with 5V. If you can suggest IC that has I2C interface and can generate PWM signal I would appreciate it.

Thank you very much for your help,

Best regards,

Ahmet
