Tool/software:
Section 7.3.1.4 of the datasheet outlines the procedure to use the inbuilt temperature sensor in the DP83TG720 PHY.
In order to maximize accuracy, please ensure the following:
- Sample "temperature_output_code" at 25C and use it as "temperature_output_mean_code", instead of using value 161.
- Use a value of 1.0 for "slope_temperature_sensor" instead of 1.5
