The customer wants to replace MAXLINEAR's ST16C654IJ68-F with TL16C754B. The two components are PIN2PIN. May I ask if the software configuration is the same and what are the differences between the two models？

    Jeno,

    We cannot promise the software between the two devices will be 100% compatible. Even moving between TI devices, there are issues between migrating to the latest Rev. The customer will need to test this themselves and see if their software works. Sometimes minor differences in how the digital is set up (like or vs and conditions in the digital) can cause errors.

    There is also an errata for this device from us. I would recommend they read the errata document (beneath the datasheet of the product folder) and be aware of the potential issues it can cause.
