hi expert,

my customer need cc short to battery protection, but they don't find any auto grade device, do you have any recommendation device with auto grade.

if no auto grade device, my customer want to know if could they use TPD2S703-Q1 (which is use to protect D+D-) to use in CC protection application.

Hi Colt,

Unfortunately we do not have a CC line protection product with auto grade for now.

TPD2S703-Q1 cannot be directly used for CC lines, due to the different current requirements. The CC lines have to be able to pass 500mA if the customer is using VCONN.

if they don't use VCONN, whether could they use TPD2S703-Q1 for CC lines.

Hi Colt,

It the current rating meets customer's requirement, perhaps yes. TPD2S703-Q1 is not specialized for CC lines.
