Could you please provide an update on the release date for the TVHD9491-SEP?

It is because I would like to check if it aligns with our engineering schedule.

Additionally, could you let me know the lead time for purchasing parts after the launch?

    Tentatively the device should release this year, but I don't have a definite date of release at this time.

  • I understand that there may have been some confusion, as I was expecting a release in September based on our previous discussions.
    However, it appears that the release is now projected for later this year.

    Could you please provide any additional details or background on the reason for the delay?

    We are delayed already on this part - there are a lot of moving parts with releasing a space grade device and I can't really get into all the details on a public facing forum - the schedule I have the part was supposed to release at the beginning of this month (August) - but it hasn't and I don't have an updated schedule. Releasing in September is still possible - but I don't have a definite date to give you because we don't have one - we are actively working to release the part.

    And my (probably) last question is Could you please clarify the differences between the current PTHVD9491DRSEP model and the upcoming THVD9491-SEP model? My understanding is that the components' performance, manufacturing specifications, and materials are all identical, and the differences lie only in the testing procedures and pass/fail criteria. I would appreciate it if you could confirm whether my understanding is correct or if there are other distinctions I should be aware of.

    Your understanding is correct - the only difference between the P material and the non-P material is testing procedures and pass/fail criteria.
