Hi Team, 

I am perplexed on usage of HDMI companion chip, I could find TPD12S016 and TPD12S521 from TI Roadmap. 

Which part shall I consider?

Any major difference between those two parts

    Prabhu,

    The TPD12S016 requires fewer external components, so it is the most common selected.  The TPD12S521 has external pull-up resistors for the I2C lines in HDMI and offers the ability to tune the performance of these signals.

    You should select the device that best meets your system needs.  They both should have similar performance.
