TCAN3414: UVLO threshold maximum value

Part Number: TCAN3414

Tool/software:

Hi Team,

My customer is designing with TCAN3414, they want to understand the max value of UVLO.(UVCC)

I understand that we should design with min recommend VCC and min UVCC to make the design safe. Our competitors will mark max UVCC on DS.

Could you help check if we have max value of UVLO.(UVCC)? Thanks.

BR,

Victor

  • Hi Victor,

The maximum undervoltage detection threshold falling can be assumed based on the maximum rising specification (2.9V) minus the defined hysteresis between these detection states (120mV specified by design). This would give us a theoretical maximum value for the falling threshold of 2.78V. The characterization data I have access to shows an actual simulated maximum around 2.7V, so this estimate is accurate.

Let me know if you have any more questions.

    Regards,
    Eric Schott
